You’ll wish you were here for our 60 Minutes with Nick Mason, drummer for iconic band Pink Floyd. Hot off the back of the V&A’s blockbuster exhibition celebrating the band’s fifty years in the business, Nick will join us to discuss his musical career, and his other great passion – motor sport.

After leaving school Nick spent five years training as an Architect. Studies were interrupted however when he became a founding member of rock band Pink Floyd – he maintains he’s still on his 50th gap year!

Pink Floyd enjoys world-wide acclaim; their album Dark Side of the Moon was in the American hit parade continuously for five years, and the band’s latest tour Momentary Lapse of Reason played twenty different countries and was attended by over one million people.

Nick first became interested in cars as a small boy when he was introduced to Silverstone by his father, Bill Mason, a keen amateur racer. Nick is now an experienced racer himself with a car collection that spans the history of motor sport from 1901 to the present day.

Race down to Chinatown and spend an hour with Nick Mason in the driving seat at China Exchange!

This event is part of the Prudential Series of talks by exceptional people with extraordinary lives.
