Spend an evening hearing from arts luminary, Sir Nicholas Serota, the current Chairman of Arts Council England and the (soon to be) former Director of Tate galleries, as part of the Prudential Series.

Widely known as one of the most influential men in the visual arts, Sir Nicholas transformed the Tate into a world leading art institution. Among  his achievements during his tenure, he opened Tate St Ives in 1993 and Tate Modern in 2000 as well as creating the Plus Tate network of 35 institutions across the UK and Northern Ireland.

Previously Director of the Whitechapel Art Gallery and of the Museum of Modern Art, Oxford, Sir Nicholas has been a member of the Visual Arts Advisory Committee of the British Council, a Trustee of the Architecture Foundation and a commissioner on the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment. He was a member of the Olympic Delivery Authority which was responsible for building the Olympic Park in East London for 2012 and is a board member of the BBC.
