In a session with a two course menu, first savour a recital of culinary poetry with time to understand and appreciate selected poems with poet, Jennifer Wong before cooking up your own food-inspired poems. About our workshop leader, Jennifer Wong

A Hong Kong native, Jennifer writes and teaches poetry. Her book, Goldfish (Chameleon Press) is a reflection on the myths, rituals and superstitions she grew up with. She has an MA in creative writing from the University of East Anglia and is completing a PhD in creative writing at Oxford Brookes University. Her poems have been published in The Rialto, Stand, Oxford Poetry, The North, Magma (forthcoming), Asian Cha, Voice & Verse, Morning Star and others, while her translations and reviews have appeared in Poetry London and Poetry Review. She was Associate Lecturer in Creative Writing at Oxford Brookes University and now teaches at Citylit. Inspired by her interest in food, she also contributes food reviews to Asia Times.
