Celebrated designer, Anya Hindmarch spoke of design as a process of love; irreverent fashion; the need to remain authentic and focused; the development of her logo (the bow inspired by the gifts her mother gives, the rope inspired by silver hallmarks); and her bag pet peeves. She shared insights into 3D printing in design development and what decisions she had to take when that video of Solange Knowles throwing the Anya Hindmarch crisp packet clutch at her brother-in-law. The audience were curious to understand more about what happens when a founder appoints a CEO. The challenges posed by Chinese e-commerce platform, Taobao, and handling forgery were discussed, as was the mind set of an entrepreneur.
