Dame Judi Dench will spend 60 Minutes with the China Exchange audience on Wednesday 7 June. Book your tickets now for an evening with a woman who is widely regarded as one of Britain’s greatest actors.

From her stage debut at the Old Vic to her 30-year run with the Royal Shakespeare Company, Dame Judi Dench has demonstrated throughout her career that she can undertake roles in any genre on stage or screen and keep us captivated. Who can forget her blistering eight-minute performance as Elizabeth I in Shakespeare in Love (1998) that earned her an Academy Award?

As well as playing M to Daniel Craig’s 007, memorable roles in films such as Chocolat (2000), Iris (2001), Mrs Henderson Presents (2005) and Notes on a Scandal (2006), Philomena (2013) show the diversity of her recent career. Dame Judi joined an ensemble cast of acclaimed British actors for the surprise 2011 hit The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, and returned for its 2015 sequel, The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.

Dame Judi will be in conversation with Sir David Tang as part of the Prudential Series, which features exceptional people with extraordinary lives.
