Our summer festival Chinese Write Now wraps up this month with our Family Day of creative workshops and performances at China Exchange. The day will include bilingual theatre with the talented team at Little Bean, and community creating sessions. There are also free water calligraphy and creative postcard writing sessions. All activities are free and available to all.

Canto Fun with Little Bean
Cantonese is the most spoken Chinese household language in the UK and it is a tonal language which sounds a bit like singing! Meanwhile, many Chinese characters are developed from pictograms which is a lot of fun to learn!
In this interactive performance, children and families will enter the astonishing world of Cantonese language together with Little Bean, learning a few basic Chinese characters and Cantonese words (including fun onomatopoeias!) through engaging bilingual nursery rhymes, sensory play, movements and games. The show is suitable for 3-7 years old and their grownups.
