Spend an evening at China Exchange to understand more about how you can create a transformative sacred space in which to work, create and live during 2017.

Ahead of Chinese New Year it is customary to make time to put all your affairs in order, clean your house and replace old with new.  This is mirrored by the European custom of Spring cleaning and setting resolutions for the new year. Take this seasonal opportunity to learn how we can create positive physical spaces for ourselves using two related philosophies – feng shui and using spatial energy and intention to support personal growth.

The session will be led by feng shui consultant, Gabriela Galbenus and designer, Marc Peridis and those taking part will leave equipped with the knowledge to adjust their work or home environment to match their intentions for the Year of the Rooster and throughout 2017.

Feng shui is an ancient Chinese practice that examines how objects and their placement impact on energy flow in a particular environment and how these objects influence personal energy flow. According to feng shui, our personal energy flow affects how we think and act and so by adjusting our environment to channel energy in different ways, we can influence our personal success.  Directing spatial energy to create sacred spaces is a contemporary approach developed by interior designer, Marc Peridis, whose work also explores how personal energy can be channelled effectively to support an individual’s aims and goals.

About the workshop leaders:

Gabriela Galbenus is a Feng Shui Consultant and a Member of the Feng Shui Society, actively involved on defining and spreading the teachings of Feng Shui, BaZi and other Chinese Metaphysics topics across Europe.

Marc Peridis is a designer and sacred space curation. He ran his own interior design studio for nearly 10 years before launching the 19 greek street gallery which has become a pioneering force for sustainable design in London.
