Help us get crafty by giving us your unwanted and unused craft materials for our next exciting project Made in Chinatown. This new pilot aims to produce unique souvenirs made by Chinatown community members and friends.

Throughout April we’ll be collecting fabric, craft paper, haberdashery supplies and more to work with community groups to create beautiful and distinct London Chinatown items. Help us generate creativity, conversation, and awareness of issues around our Chinatown!

What we need:

  • Wool, thread and yarn
  • Fabric
  • Decorative paper
  • Haberdashery fixings – ribbon, zips, buttons and beads
  • Pins and needles
  • Fabric scissors
  • Craft tools

You can bring items to donate to China Exchange between 9am and 6pm Monday to Friday in April. If you need to make alternative arrangements, please get in touch. If the door is closed, please call the office on 0207 7341931 and we’ll come to welcome you.

If you would like to learn more about the project or be involved in some other way (for instance, makers who are confident to lead a workshop), please email Helena (h.zhang@chinaexchange.uk).
