Sir Tom Jones

The Prudential Series got off to an explosive start this season with Sir Tom Jones, who charmed us all with his frank accounts of his early life and the highlights of his career.

Sir Tom described how as a child growing up in Wales, he was surrounded by music “we just sang, it was second nature”. He reminisced about his incredible friendship with Elvis Presley, and the nights they spent together at Elvis’s home singing gospel songs until dawn. Sir Tom attributed his lasting success to never losing faith in what he was doing and always remaining true to himself.
