Spend 60 minutes with former Prime Minister Sir John Major. After entering Parliament in 1979, Sir John went on to serve as Prime Minister from November 1990 to May 1997. Among his achievements is the initiation of the Northern Ireland Peace Process, in recognition of which he was appointed a Companion of Honour by HM The Queen. In 2005 Sir John was appointed a Knight Companion of the Most Noble Order of the Garter.
Sir John’s business interests include Senior Adviser to Credit Suisse, and Chairman of the Advisory Board of Global Infrastructure Management. He is also President or Patron of a number of UK and international charities. In 2011, Sir John was appointed Chairman of The Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust. He also chairs the Campaign Board of King’s London.
