A very merry night was had by all at the second Baijiu tasting event. Partnering with FU of Liverpool, the only dedicated baijiu bar in the UK, co-founder Elliot shared the history and significance on baijiu in China and it’s influence on the drinks cabinets of the top bars around the world whilst Peter, Head Mixologist at FU bar, led the sampling of a wide variety from the most easily accessible Er Guo Tou to the higher end Maotai. An interactive game of guess the aroma had audience in fits of laughter and led to much conversation about different flavours. The night ended with Peter stirring up a storm with an exclusively designed cocktail for China Exchange, The Fire Rooster, which the audience were invited to sample.
