China Exchange Appoints New Trustees

Geyang Huang brings experience of partnerships, cross cultural marketing and business development, and international relationship management. Geyang is currently Head of Corporate Engagement – APAC at London & Partners the business growth and destination agency for London.

Eric Yu brings experience of finance and accounting, business management, and his company, The Breakfast Group, runs a business in Chinatown where China Exchange is based and focuses its heritage and community work. Eric is currently Chair of the Breakfast Group.

On confirming the new appointments, China Exchange Chair Mei Shui said:

“My fellow Trustees and I are delighted to welcome Geyang and Eric to the Board of China Exchange. Their experience will continue to broaden the strategic thinking and decision making for the charity during a period where a better understanding of China and Chinese culture proves both urgent and important.”

GEYANG HUANG

Geyang is a well-established professional with over 20 years’ experience. She is currently Head of Corporate Engagement – APAC at London & Partners (L&P), the business growth and destination agency for London. Prior to joining L&P, she worked for UK Trade & Investment in Shanghai and East of England International in Cambridge advising multinational companies on how to set up and expand their business in the UK. Geyang previously worked in China for a number of international blue chip companies including Sony, JP Morgan and Gallup.

ERIC YU

Eric began his career as a Chartered Accountant in London for KPMG. He left to join The Pheasantry Group where he grew his passion and expertise in the hospitality industry. He went on to found The Breakfast Group, a hospitality group of well-known London brands in the Capital, almost 30 years ago and now serves as Chairman.
