China Exchange volunteers are continuing to build their skills and support our work. Our six super stitchers have now completed their training with textile artist Ekta Kaul. They learnt expert techniques for fine hand embroidery and explored the heritage stories of Chinatown through stitch. The special handcrafted pieces they produce will be sold in the new year to support future Chinatown community projects.
