Opportunities to understand China, Chinese culture and Chinatown

Chinatown institution Tao Tao Ju is to launch Steam at Home kits in December allowing people across the UK to enjoy specialist hand crafted dim sum . Proceeds from each order will be donated to China Exchange so you get to eat well and do good with every order! We are so grateful to our friends and neighbours at Tao Tao Ju for this support.

The restaurant on Lisle Street, opened in 2011 and is run by the Tang family. The Steam at Home dim sum kits have been created as a way to bring much-loved and hand-crafted elements of Chinatown to people wherever they are in the UK. Each item is made by the skilled Tao Tao Ju chefs before being immediately frozen and prepared for delivery.

The kits cost £25 and contains Siu Mai – Prawn and Pork Dumplings, Xiao Long Bao – Shanghai Pork Dumplings, Char Siu Bao – Pork Buns, Har Gau – Prawn Dumplings, Mixed Mushroom and Vegetable Dumplings, Lo Mei Gai – Sticky Rice wrapped in Lotus Leaf, and Nai Wong Bao – Custard Buns along with a bamboo steam basket to create a dim sum experience in your own home. Click here for more details.
