Join us for a Chinese New Year Flash Dance!
Join us this Chinese New Year to dance in the streets. To celebrate the year of the Rat, we’re recruiting members for the China Exchange troupe taking part in the Chinatown New Year parade on the 26th January – be part of something special!
What will our troupe do?
Participants will have seven days to learn the routine of 12 steps choreographed especially around the China Exchange programme themes: heritage & community, and contemporary China. The steps will be taught in an online tutorial before everyone joins together in one celebratory session at China Exchange before we join the parade on 26 January.
Flash Dance is open to anyone over the age of 16, regardless of ability, so put on your dancing shoes and dance your way through the iconic New Year Parade!
