Would you like to join our casual team?

We are recruiting. To support our work and operations, we need confident and calm event stewards to join our casual team on a flexible basis.

Duties:

  • Welcoming and directing guests to their events from our reception desk
  • Answering phones and assisting with queries
  • Setting up rooms for activities
  • Assisting at China Exchange events
  • Dealing with requests and queries quickly and effectively
  • Ensuring visitor safety and comfort

 

What we’re looking for:

  • A positive attitude
  • People who enjoy working with people
  • Strong communication skills
  • The ability to stay calm under pressure
  • People who are enthusiastic about learning new things
  • Fluency in both English and Mandarin is an advantage
  • Candidates who are entitled to work in the UK. We are unable to sponsor work permits or visas for these vacancies

 

What we offer:

  • £11.50 per hour
  • Supportive and inclusive working environment
  • Flexible working arrangements
  • Working patterns will vary with some shifts in the evenings and at weekends
